Cropredy Tennis Club
Cropredy Tennis Club - Everyone’s Game
Cropredy Tennis Club is small friendly club in a beautiful setting, offering facilities for family and social play. We have two all-weather hard courts, situated at Cropredy Sports Field, Williamscot Road.
Club Nights for all adult members are held on Monday evenings throughout the season from 5:00pm onward. Non-members are welcome to come to their first Club Night as a free “taster”, if they want to try out the facilities and meet other members before deciding whether to join the club. Ladies-only Club Nights are held on Wednesday evenings from 3:30pm.
Coaching courses for adult and junior members of all abilities are organised if sufficient members register an interest. These are run in association with Banbury Tennis Academy.
The club runs a free “fun-and-skills” event for juniors each year. A social event is held each summer, which offers social play combined with a chance to meet other members over drinks and refreshments.
The club have a ball machine which is available for members to use members for just £5 per year. The machine shoots tennis balls to the player across the net so there is no need to recruit a friend to "feed" practice balls - ideal for "returners" to tennis who need to get back up to speed.
Lawn Tennis Association (LTA): Cropredy Tennis club is registered as an LTA "Place to Play" and receives an annual allocation of Wimbledon tickets that are distributed to club members (who are also registered as British Tennis Members and have "opted in" on the LTA's website) by ballot.
For more information on any of the above or if you have any questions, please contact our Chairman, Simon Bright, on 07973 215750 or at email@example.com.
Our strapline encapsulates our inclusive club, but the LTA now requires a formal Equality & Diversity Policy to make clear our commitment to ensuring that everyone is treated fairly and with respect and that members and non-members are not denied access to our tennis venue for a discriminatory reason. The policy can be found on our website and includes what to do if a complaint needs to be made.
